Kondevoor Yogabrahma Kshetra hosts religious and cultural programme

Mumbai, March 26: "As Indians are traditionalists, they live making culture an indivisible part of their lives.  Righteousness is a specialty of Indians and it is an example to the world.  We look after hundreds of children in our Kshetra and have given them wisdom.  If we get cooperation from the believers in the city we intend to make it a centre of belief", said Nityananda Yogabrahma, chief priest of Nityananda Yogabrahma kshetra of Uppala Kondevoor.

He was addressing the annual religious and cultural programme held by Yogabrahma Kshetra, Mumbai at Dr M Vishweshwaraya hall at Mahim west on Saturday, March 22.

In the programme presided over by the committee president Dharmapal U Devadiga, Yoganandashree lighted the lamp and inaugurated theprogramme.

The work of the Kshetra is God's work.  Real social work can be seen here.  Let us join hands in it and be blessed, said Dharmapal Devadiga.  The office bearers, Dharmapal Devadiga and honorary president Rohidas Bangera felicitated Yoganandashree with a garland of tulasi and a shawl.

Jayashreekrishna environment lover's committee founder Thonse Jayakrishna A Shetty, guests of honor, businessman Raghuram K Shetty of Belgaum, Prabhakar Shetty, Kadandale Suresh Bhandary, B K Madhur, Ashok M Kotian Thane, Kutpadi Ramachandra R Ganiga, N Jagadish V Rao, social worker Vishwanath U Mada and Chandrashekar R Belchada were present.  They spoke and called on people to join in the service of the kshetra and be blessed.

Mumbai committee vice president K P Arvind, Joint secretaries Thonse Sanjeev Poojary, Ashok Kukyan, Joint treasurer Babu T Bangera, Working committee members Urwa Narayan, Laxman Bangera, Sudhakar V Harish Udyavar, Vijaya Poojary, Jayaprakash Chettiyar, Thimmappa K Bangera and Prabhod Manjeshwar were present.

Yoganandashree presented Mantrakshathe and memento to many people and blessed them.  Honorary chief secretary Nityanand D Kotian  welcomed and compered the programme.  Treasurer Harish K Chevar proposed vote of thanks.

Artistes of Navodaya Kalaranga enacted a tulu drama titled 'Tambila', created by Nagaraja Gurupura and directed by Chandrakanth Salian as part of the cultural programme.
