Miley Cyrus hospitalised for allergic reaction

Los Angeles, April 16 (IANS): Singer Miley Cyrus has been hospitalised for severe allergic reaction following which she had to cancel her Kansas City performance.

Cyrus was hospitalised Tuesday and according to eonline.com, a source said that the singer cancelled her show at the Sprint Center Wednesday due to "an absolutely horrible reaction" to medication.

Currently her medical state is not clear, but the singer took to Twitter to apologise to her fans for not being able to give them a show. "Kansas, I promise Im as heartbroken as you are. I wanted so badly to be there tonight. Not being with you all makes me feel s--ttier than I already do."

She also posted a photo of herself in the hospital bed, writing, "Mr. Octopussy & some amazing doctors are taking good care of me."

This is not the first time that the 21-year-old has fallen ill, she has been dealing with a number of health issues during her Bangerz tour lately.

Earlier in March, the singer came down with flu and was forced to cancel her concert in Charlotte.

Cyrus has also been battling major "throat and sinus" issues.
