Hrithik Roshan loses sons' custody to ex-wife Sussanne

Mumbai, May 4 (Emirates 24|7): Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and his wife Sussanne approached the family court in Mumbai and filed an application for separation by mutual consent, four months after they decided to end their marriage.

The family court will hear their application by November.

On December 14, 2013, they called off their marriage and issued two separate statements to the media.

But the custody of their kids Hridaan and Hrehaan has been decided.

After divorce Sussanne will be the sole custodian of the kids and Hrithik did not object to this.

The couple, whose companionship spans a period of 17 years, was married for 13 years, and they recently (December 2013) went their separate ways. It has emerged that another hearing has been scheduled for six months from now.

Lawyer Dipesh Mehta is representing both Hrithik and Sussanne. The counsellor has submitted the report and the next hearing will take place on October 31.

The custody of their kids, Hrehaan and Hridaan, has been awarded to Sussanne.

With the couple filing for divorce, rumours about their getting back together have been put to rest.

Their family and friends stand by their decision but had hoped that things would turn differently.

In fact, no allegations have been made by either party.
