I came all the way from Zaragoza, Spain to be at the inauguration of the church and congratulations to the architect and all those that made it possible.

However, I must also make it clear that I am shocked and completely disgusted that the person that donated extremely generously from his personal funds to build the church was completely ignored at the felicitation ceremony without the honours bestowed to others.

We can talk all day about who did what but the fact of the matter is that without a benefactor, this church would never have been built and it is an absolute travesty that the organizers of the program did not recognize the contribution of the individual in question.

Congrats to the Rector of Divine Mercy Church at Fatima Retreat House. I was searching for a Mosaic picture or replica of Divine Mercy in the New Church - I could not find in the photo album. A felicitation program in the Sanctuary premises which Pope Benedict XVI clearly disapproved of is still unwelcome.

It is greatest pleasure that I present my comments at the inauguration of Divine Mercy Church at Fatima Retreat House.

I have wonderful memories of this peaceful place most conducive to prayer. Over the years I have known the F.R.H. and most of The Directors have been my family friends.

Despite the formal as well as personal invitations from the management of Fatima Retreat House, Irene and I regret that we were not able to be present at the great event.

As I was talking to Father Eugene and Father Santhosh I told them that they have built a Basilica to help people to reflect and pray.

Congratulations to the management on putting up such a magnificent edifice which will go down in history.
