I'm in no hurry for new album: Alex Turner

Los Angeles, Jun 12 (IANS): Singer-songwriter Alex Turner insists he's in “no hurry” to start writing a new Arctic Monkeys album because the band are still busy promoting their 2013 record “AM”.

The frontman, who has had huge success with the band's 2013 record, claims he still has “a lot of sh*t to do” with touring the world and promoting the album and he hasn't got time to start recording new material for their sixth release, reports contactmusic.com.

Speaking after the band's two huge shows at London's Finsbury Park last month, he told NME magazine: “I've written a few things, but I'm not in a hurry.

“We're going to keep going (with touring) until the summer and beyond that a little bit, maybe. I don't know. I wouldn't think it'll be too soon that we do the next one,” he added.
