Mumbai,Jun 17: 'Fugly', which was released last week has collected 9.5 crores. The collection is decent considering that the movie has got negative reviews from the critics and mixed opinion from the public.
The movie will be able to recover the costs as it is a small budget film. Good music and cameos of Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar seems to have also influenced the audience in watching the film.
'Fugly' has been directed by Kabir Sadanand. The movie has been produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi under their Grazing Goat Pictures production. This is their second production after 'Oh My God'.
'Fugly' has debutants like Mohit Marwah, Kiara Advani, Vijender singh and Arfi Lamba in its starcast. Jimmy Shergill plays the role of a corrupt cop in the film.
