Very sad news. May the soul rest in peace. Death in NH 66 is common due to Road accident. We simply can not blame one another. The speed, ego always counts. Its total negligence of our system. RTO and local politicians enjoys their life style. There is no speed control. No traffic rules, no proper service road for local traffic. RTO or Local authorities have no sympathy towards those who travel regularly on such a horrifying road sytem unless such incident happens in their family. Local bus drivers never bother about the families there are carrying.

Bus drivers and truck drivers always kills two wheelers and small vehicles in overtaking. Separate lanes for the heavy vehicles and no overtaking by heavy vehilces to small vehicles only solve the problem little. When proper road itself not exists in India where we can expect lane discipline ?

Its very sad Incident. May His soul rest in peace.
As He left 2 sisters and Parents, I believe he is one of the major pillar of his family.
These kind of accidents became common in D.K. The Kundapur to Udupi, Mangalore Buses are running very fast. As RTO approved the timing, they have very shoret gap. So they drive like hell. RTO should take some serious action about this.

It is very sad that accidents, rapes, murders and thefts have become daily occurrences. Mangalore and the Dakshina Kannada District as such used to be peaceful and accident and crime free some decades ago However with industrialization and the influx of population accidents and crime have become very common.

We have a good Police Force in Mangalore and the District and it is hoped that the situation will be better if not completely crime free.
