B L Rao releases four books authored by Karunakara Shetty

Mumbai, June 24:
The president of Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Maharashtra unit, B L Rao unveiled four publications written by renowned literate Dr Karunakara Shetty Paniyur on Saturday June 21 at Samarasa Bhavana. 
 
The programme was organized by the Karnataka Sangha Mumbai in association with Abhinaya Samrajya Mumbai Association. 







 
B L Rao released four books namely, Vichara Vimarshe-2, Kattale Seridaga- a collection of short stories, Shankanada- a translation and Hosa Hejje- a collection of poems. 
 
Addressing the gathering after the release, B L Rao lauded the author of the books and said that he has given as many as 15 books to the arena of literature. "It is notable that he has developed his own section of readers. Karunakar Shetty's talks are beautifully soaked in silence. He is very simple despite his achievements in the field of literature," Rao added.
 
Shimanturu Suvarna in his welcome speech said, "Samrajya Mumbai Association, which is known for its simplicity has been serving since four decades. The association would hold a workshop on drama writing in the coming days." 
 
Umesh Shetty, Ashok Salyan, Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu, Anita Poojary and others were present during the occasion.
