'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' opens low at box office

Mumbai, July 7: 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' received a lukewarm response at box office.

The movie starring debutantes Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth was able to collect only Rs 50 lacs on the opening day. It was expected to increase on the second day, but could manage only Rs 55 lacs.

The movie has become a washout. Many multiplexes across the country are cancelling the shows and replacing it with 'Ek Villain.' The movie was excellently promoted and marketed by the team, but still the movie suffered. The audiences have rejected the movie. The movie was targeted to the youth, but the youth could not connect with the movie.

The lead actors acting capabilities has been praised. The music by A R Rahman has received mixed reviews with the only song 'Khalifa' becoming a hit.

'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' is all set to join the list of flops of 2014.
