Pink Floyd to launch album after 20 years

London, Jul 8 (IANS): Pink Floyd is readying to release a new album after two decades in October, revealed band member David Gilmour's wife.

The new offering, titled "The Endless River", is the group's first album since their 1994 album "The Division Bell", reports variety.com.

"Btw Pink Floyd album out in October is called "The Endless River". Based on 1994 sessions is Rick Wright's swansong and very beautiful," Polly Samson, who married guitarist Gilmour in 1994, posted on Twitter.

Touring vocalist Durga McBroom-Hudson fuelled the rumour with a Facebook post, writing: "YES. THERE IS A NEW PINK FLOYD ALBUM COMING OUT."
