Mangalore, Aug 3: The inauguration of the Alumni Association of St Aloysius English Medium School, Urva will be held at 4-00 pm on Sunday, August 6.

This was announced at a press meet addressed by school headmaster Fr Ivan Rodrigues.

The school was founded by Fr F P S Moniz, under the patronage of St Aloysius Gonzaga in 1982, and the high school was started  by Fr Frederick V Pereira in 1993.

The inauguration of the Alumni Association marks the beginning of the year-long Silver Jubilee celebration of the school. It will be followed by many projects and competitions throughout the year.

The inauguration of the Alumni Association on Sunday at 4 pm will provide the past students of the institution with an opportunity to gather as one family to share their joys, experiences and achievements in life and lay a strong foundation to bind themselves with the institution. All past students are invited to attend the programme.

Fr Rodrigues also briefed about the year-long celebrations and the need to form the Alumni Association.  Teacher Ida Rosario, former student Santosh Amin and Silver Jubilee celebration committe convener Suman Premkumar were present at the press meet.
