Hyderabad, Jul 9: 'Mega Star' Chiranjeevi is all set to make a comeback in Tollywood. He has acted in 149 films till date. His last release was 'Shankar Dada Zindabad', which was directed by Prabhu Deva.
He became active in politics and did not act in films all these years.
Chiranjeevi headed the Congress campaign team for the recently held Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. Congress performed very badly and was not able to win even one seat.
With his political career not going anywhere, Chiranjeevi is all set to act in his 150th film. The film will be produced by his son Ram Charan Teja. His son recently announced a prize of Rs 1 crore to the person who writes the script for his dad's 150th film.
There are certain rumours going in Tollywood that famous director V V Vinayak will direct the prestigious film. But V V Vinayak has refuted the rumours. Chiranjeevi's 150th film is all set to be launched on his birthday August 22.
