Mumbai, Jul 9: 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniyan’ is inspired by classic film 'Dilwale Dulhaniyan Le Jaayenge'. 

Alia Bhatt plays the role of a girl from Ambala who is getting married to Siddharth Shukla. She comes to Delhi to do her wedding shopping wherein she meets Varun. Varun falls in love with her. Even Alia falls in love with Varun, but decides to sacrifice her love as she is scared of her dad.

She goes back to Ambala. Varun is depressed with this development. He decides to marry Alia and goes to Ambala. Can he stop her marriage with Siddharth? Can he marry Alia? All these questions can be answered by watching the movie. The movie is slated to release on Friday July 11.
