Mumbai, July 21: A 13-member delegation comprising of Muslim leaders and representatives of civil society organizations led by Member of State Legislature Amin Patel met Governor K Sankaranarayanan at Raj Bhavan.
Expressing concern over the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian Gaza Strip that have allegedly resulted in the killing of many Palestinians including women and children, the delegation urged the governor to convey their strong sentiments to the President of India to end the brutality and to facilitate provision of Indian medical relief to the people of Gaza by sending doctors and medicines.
Maulana Syed Moiuddin Ashraf, Sajjada Nasheen, Kichaucha Shareef, Sarfaraz Arzu, Editor, Hindustan Daily, Firoze Mithiborewala, Saeed Noori, Maulana Moin Haque Aleemi, Aziz Makki, Maulana Irfan Aleemi and others were present.
