Mumbai, Aug 2: Nagarapanchami was celebrated before the Subrahmanya deity at Subrahmanya mutt in Chembur Cheddanagar on Friday August 1.
Vidyaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Subrahmanya mutt gave blessings in the morning along with Pavamana Homa, Abhisheka, Ashlesha Bali, Navaka Pradhana Kalasha, Homa, Mahabhisheka, Alankara, Mahapooja, Nagatanu Tarpana pooje, Mangalarathi, Theertha Prasada and Annasantarpane programmes. Thousands of devotees arrived at the mutt and offered their prayers to the deity.
Vishweshatheertha Sripada of Pejavar mutt and his disciple Vishwaprasanna Theertha Sripada arrived in the evening and blessed the
devotees present. Sriprasad Bhat and Vishnu Karanth led priests Naravi Gururaja Bhat, Balakrishna Bhat Perampalli, Krishna Bhat Dombivli and Krishnaraj Upadyaya performed poojas and distributed prasada.
