SC notice on Campa Cola society residents' plea


New Delhi, Aug 4 (IANS): The Supreme Court Monday issued notice to the Maharashtra government and BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation on the plea of residents of the unauthorised flats of the Campa Cola society, seeking yet another chance to negotiate with the municipal body to save their flats.

An apex court bench headed by Justice S.J. Mukhopadhaya issued notice returnable in two weeks on the plea by the owners of the unauthorised flats that there is a provision by which even the unauthorised construction are regularised after paying penalties and other charges.
