THE RULE OF TE DAY regarding wearing helmets should be strictly followed. In this way precious lives can be saved. I am aware that on the part of Traffic Police department they are doing everything possible to enforce the rule.

Hope the young people try to understand the significance of the need to wear helmets.

The problem is that these days most bikes come with front disk brakes which will lock the wheels in no time. Once that happens, 99% of there is no way to control the bike. It is high time that ABS is made mandatory in bikes that are equipped with disk brakes. These days ABS technology has been commoditized and is no longer expensive. As the new government is talking about making crash tests and other safety features mandatory for cars, the bike safety should also be thought about.
