Mumbai: Nithyananda Kotian elected president of Billawa Assn

Mumbai, Aug 11: The prestigious Billawa association, Mumbai elected Nithyananda D Kotian as their new president.

The election was held at Santacruz (E) in the Billawa Bavana on Friday August 8. Jyothi K Suvarna was elected as the vice-president and advocate Dr U Danajaya Kumar as the general secretary.

Nithyananda D Kotian has been working with the Billawa Association for over 23 years. He initially served as the treasurer, general secretary and as vice-president. He hails form Thonse, Udupi district.

For the last 14 years, Dr U Danajay Kumar had also served in many posts of the association. He hails from Ullal in Mangalore and has a professional doctorate degree in law. He served for about 17 years in Bharat Bank.

Jyothi K Suvarna had also served in various posts in the Billawa association before becoming the new vice-president.
