Himachal accident kills one, injures 17

Shimla, Aug 26 (IANS): A passenger was killed and 17 others were injured Tuesday when a bus skidded off the road and rolled down a hill in Himachal Pradesh, police said.

One of the seriously injured was referred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla.

The Himachal Road Transport Corp bus was on way to Bilaspur town when the accident occurred near Bagha, some 75 km from here, a police official told IANS. The cause of the accident is not known.
