Mumbai, Oct 27: The southern sporting region consisting of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu held sporting events at
Thirunalveli in Tamilnadu recently.

Kondevoor Sadguru Nityananda Vidyapeeta’s tenth standard student Nisha Vijay won the second prize in 5,000 meters walking race and third prize in hammer throw. Among other students who won prizes in that school, ninth standard student Shreya B M has won third prize in 3,000 meters race, ninth standard student Sristi A V has won third prize in 400 meters race and third prize in triple jump. Ninth standard student Preethi P has participated in Javelin throw.

Tenth standard student Nisha Vijay has been selected for the national level sporting event in 5,000 meters walking race and being eligible to participate in the national level competition has brought laurels to the school.

Yogananda Saraswathi Swamiji of Yogashrama, school development committee and staff have congratulated the winners and hope that Nisha will shine at national level too.
