Mumbai, Nov 10: The preliminary meeting of Chinnara Bimba twelfth anniversary was held at Pejavar Math Mumbai branch hall at Prabhat Colony Santacruz east on Tuesday, November 4.
Prakash B Bhandary, the key person of Chinnara Bimba led the meeting.
The twelfth anniversary of Chinnara Bimba is proposed to be held at Radhabai T Bhandari hall of Bhandari estate at Kurla east on Sunday, Nov 16 at 8 am. There will be Bhajan competition by different groups from 8.30 am followed by inauguration of the anniversary celebrations at 11 am.
Children from Mira road camp will present dance, verses and skit. The parents of children from different camps will present group songs. After tributes programme at 2 pm and felicitation, the parents of children from different camps will participate in group songs and dance competition, solo and group Janapada music. Senior students will participate in competition. Yakshagana programme will be held at 4 pm. Vikram Patkar will give main speech.

Kaiyyaru Ramesh D Rai of Chinnara Bimba, Bhaskar Shetty Talipady, Ashok Shetty, Karnooru Mohan Rai were present on the dais. Renuka P Bhandary, Thonse Sanjiva Poojary of Sakinaka – Jerimeri camp, Jayaprakash Shetty Kalva, Vijaya Kotian Santacruz, Gopal ShettyKalyan, Chandrashekar Shetty Kandivli, office bearers of Chinnara Bimba and parents of children were present. Ashok Pakkala proposed vote of thanks.
