Mumbai, Nov 11: “The youth can achieve anything if they are determined. If the youth power is used positively, the country will progress in the right direction. Youth is unique. This wealth should be used for the betterment of society. If the youth proceed in spirituality with modernity, life will be prosperous. The well-being of the parents is the duty of the youth and they should respect and love them,” said Gurudevananda Swami of Odiyooru Dattaguru Veeranjaneya Swamy Kshetra.
He was speaking after lighting the traditional lamp and inaugurating ‘Youvika 2014’, the talent exhibition and youth achievement award programme held at Sadananda Shetty Hall of Bunts Center in Juyinagar, Navi Mumbai, on Monday November 10. He said that this programme held to unite the youth is praiseworthy.
The programme consisted of music, several dance competitions, fashion show, and the like. Artist Prashanth Shetty created a poster of Sai Baba and PM Narendra Modi and held an attractive exhibition. Pooja Hegde, and TV actor Adhwik Mahajan arrived as celebrities. Rajytosava award winning economist Dr R K Shetty, businessmen Padmanabha S Payyade, B R Shetty, Shankuntala Sadananda Shetty, Appanna M Shetty, Saurabh Shetty and Arvind Shetty, as well as Bantara Sangha Mumbai women’s president Lata Jayaram Shetty were present on the occasion and conveyed their best wishes.
Advisor advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty and Jayanth K Shetty guided the programme.
