Sharad Pawar asks NCP workers to prepare for mid-term poll in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Nov 18 (Agencies) : Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar on Tuesday asked party workers to gear up for mid-term poll may occur in Maharashtra. While addressing the party workers, Pawar said that no party has majority in the Assembly and NCP has not given any assurance to the BJP to complete its full term. The NCP chief also alleged that the BJP was supporting MIM, which he termed could prove dangerous for Maharashtra.

"MIM is supported by BJP, they can be dangerous for Maharashtra. Even their speeches are a point of worry," said Pawar. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had won a controversial confidence vote last Wednesday after NCP declared outside support to his minority government. As the confidence motion was passed by a voice vote, there was an uproar by Sena and Congress, with the two parties petitioning Governor C Vidyasar Rao to direct the government to seek a fresh vote in which its strength be determined through a division of votes. NCP Legislature Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar too disapproved of the manner in which the motion was passed by voice vote.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar had earlier said he cannot guarantee the survival of the BJP government for its full five-year term. Pawar's comments come in the backdrop over the possibility of BJP and Sena coming together to form a stable government. However, no clear signals from the two parties have come yet.

Mim is another illegitimate baby of congress which they don't know what to do now after giving it birth but Amit shah hatched a plan to use it against congress. If we analyze election results this time, so many criminals and corrupt are elected. In fact they have sweeped elections.
Mild people are termed and seen as weak.
Because they are good are law abiding, they are seen as not assertive, or powerless and weak not making any impact.

    mr valerian,

indian people want a dynamic guy in pm seat for whom national interest is first.

we dont want the failure of a party to be justified by useless terms like secular and communal.

these two terms in future cannot be used by any political parties to hide thier failures and appeasement politcs.

appeasement politics was the main reason in may 16 election results for bjp to win singlehandedly.

corruption just helped this cause.if there was no appeasement politcs bjp would not have got 283 seats.

the days of dynastic politics and using terms like secular and communal to hide thier failures are gone.people are intelligent, educated and aware now.

indians want thier country to be like china assertive and strong when it comes to its national interests.

Sharad Pawar is a man known for being a manipulator, cunning, back stabber, untrustworthy,he inherited all these qualities from his parent Congress party,he is a very ambitious person, he realized very early in his political career that Power means wealth, his dream was always to be the PM of India,he only succeeded being the CM of Maharashtra, and later union defense & agricultural minister. His Naturally Corrupt Party (NCP) believes only in money power,He & his band of thieves (Ajit Pawar,Chaggan Bhujbal, Praful Patel & many others) systematically plundered the wealth of Maharashtra & the Indian state,Thousands of farmers committed suicide,he was directly responsible for the rise in prices of all agricultural products namely onions, tomatoes, vegetables, pulses, wheat, rice, sugar, all over India, because he controlled all the APMC outlets.Farmers were at his mercy, they were exploited & never received fare prices for their labor,he milked them dry & in the process made thousands of cores of rupees, which were pumped back to fund his elections, his side kick Praful Patel, union aviation minister, bled national carrier Air India, despite being a sick airliner,by ordering hundreds of air crafts,& later selling those brand new air crafts for one third the purchased price,Ajit Pawar scams in dams & agricultural procurements involving thousands of cores in rupees is well documented,so is Chagan Bhujbal misdeeds in PWD Dpt.Sharad Pawar always liked to be a king or king maker in state & national politics.
I hope the people of Maharashtra will arise & disown & punish him & his party for their misdeeds against the Indian state.

everyone one should understand that pawar is a puppet in the hands of modi as he has several cases pending against him and his nephew ajit pawar that if investigations are carried out by cbi he will be permanently in jail so as his nephew

thats why without bjp asking for support, ncp gave support to bjp.
its another story that bjp didnt accept its support and instead took independents support.

uddhav thakrey has now understood that his rantings will not have any bearing on modis bjp and if he wants his partys survival he should form alliance with bjp on modis terms.

this all bcoz uddhav opposed modis name and instaed wanted advani or sushma as pm candidate.

uddhav should concentrate on his own party affairs and not on who will be pm candidate of bjp.

so modi wanted him to teach a lesson and he taught also.
midterm poll will not happen untill modi is pm.

Opportunistic Sharad Pawar should think twice before taking decisions to support parties. He did it with the Congress and walked out hoping to become the PM only to fall at Mrs.Sonia Gandhi's feet for being accomodated in the cabinet. 10 years of power at the centre and then he breaks with the congress to align with the BJP and get a deceptive vote of confidence which cannot be ascertained in terms of numbers as it was a Voice Vote. There again Sharad belittles the democratic process and supports the party in power. Does not Mr Pawar have an equal share in the wrong decisions taken by the UPA during its two terms? Was it not the same Mr Pawar who supported in the cabinet meeting the infamous ordinance which was torn by Mr Rahul Gandhi in public glare? What can we learn from these self centered, selfish and self seeking politican? Why did he not support the congress and retain the Opposition leader status in the Assembly? Such a decision would have been a honourable one.

Hon SC has observed recently that ,"there can be minority govt and there have been many so far"! is there a policy paralysis in such case, is to be measured! in that case, even President rule wont help cos, it will be governor instead of a full blown cabinet who will look after the states affair and it can't go on and on, at the max 6-8 months, as observed by SC again!... and President rule is worst case, if the law and order is deteriorating and a temorary solution, as it means reelecition soon!...

about pawar, no comments! he stopped Sonia from PM post in 1996 onawards and diluted Congress, thats his only contribution to the nation..

Daijians never questioned his 10th pass credentials, when he was CM, Defence min, Agri min etc! they only question, if he is from BJP? -)
