While I appreciate the initiative of career guidance I feel it should be on a wider spectrum across all fields of arts/commerce/science.

There are a numerous lot of kids who might have ended up taking science just because they were good in science in 10th.
And there are so many science batches in PUC right now and I dont think the industry has so many jobs in this tech field. 10 engg colleges in Mangalore makes me wonder where will all find jobs when we ourselves being in tech filed are in such a uncertain industry.
I think we should gear up commerce field, accounts, teaching, arts, journalism etc..
In general we should be able to guide the kids to list their true potential and help them identify those which can translate to steady income as well..

This will definitely help the students to the right course, instead of blindly taking engineering or medical. Kudos to Daijiworld.
