Udupi: Bike rams into parked tipper at Nandikur - One dead

Udupi, Feb 9: A person died and another sustained serious injuries after their bike rammed into a parked tipper at Nandikur here on Monday February 9.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kunder alias Govinda (45), a resident of Padu Panambur, Haleangady.

Ramachandra (42), who was riding with Ravi, was seriously injured.

It is said that Ravi and Ramachandra were riding towards Mudrangady near Kukkikatte when their bike smashed into a tipper parked near Ram Mandir at Nandikur on the state highway.

Both were rushed to hospital, but Ravi could not be saved. Ramachandra has been admitted to Adarsh hospital.

A case has been registered.

    RIP.....

    No, Street lights and no reflective stickers behind the trucks.

    some one loosing life because of some once mistake or careless.

    in other countries, for heavy vehicles while passing the permit card they must put reflective stickers back side of the vehicle.

    But in our country.........

    in our country whoever is lucky will come back home,nobody is bothered the people nor the govt,if you make strict rules then people tell somebody is making money like helmet rule, even people are against it
