Mangalore, Feb 16: The five-day annual cultural fest ‘Incident-07’ organised by National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Suratkal was inaugurated here on Wednesday February 14.

Alva’s Education Trust chairman Dr Mohan Alva inaugurated the fest.

The fest, based on the theme ‘Sun and Sand’ will have sports and other activities on the college’s private stretch of beach. Renowned music band Indian Ocean will also perform during the course of the fest.

There will also be a host of competitions along with a national-level photography competition ‘Exposed’ and a drama fest ‘Ensemble.’ Drama, quiz, workshops and fashion shows have also been lined up for the event.

Among those present were State Bank of India chief general manager of Bangalore Mahpara Ali and NITK director Dr Sandeep Sanchetti.

The fest will conclude on Sunday February 18.
