Mangalore, Feb 16:  ‘Chaturvarna’ an exhibition of paintings featuring four budding artists, was inaugurated at Prasad Art Gallery here on Thursday February 15.

The exhibition was inaugurated by veteran artist P Purushottam Karanth who said in his address that good art is the result of three H’s – Hand, Head and Heart. He also lauded the efforts of organisers in providing a platform to the young artists.

About 40 paintings by Sooraj Acharya, Reshma Acharya, Sridevi Acharya and Shilpa Acharya are on display. The exhibition will be open till Tuesday February 20.

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Lalitakala Academy member P N Acharya. Mahalasa School of Art teacher N S Pattar spoke on the occasion.

Among those present were artists Dinesh Holla and Prasad Art Gallery director Koti Prasad Alva.
