Udupi, Feb 16: Members of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (JPPS) visited the Nagarjuna construction site at Nandikur and surrounding areas and took stock of the things recently.

The members made an overall study of the on-going work at the site and also examined as whether the company is abiding by the promises it made to the Samiti.  Assistant general manager of Nagarjuna Power Corporation B H Shantaram explained to JPPS members about the current works which are being carried out on the site. The members also took information about the rehabilitation of the displaced people.

PRO of Nagarjuna Veena Shetty and other officials were also present on the occasion.  JPPS president Vishwanath U Mada, general secretary Rons Bantwal, vice-president Felix D'Souza, district-vice-president Prof Shankar, Karunakar Kaup, M Khamaruddin, Harish N Putran, president of Karnataka Vikasa Vedike, Jeetendra Furtado, president of Yuvajana Jagruti Samiti, Padubidri and Ganesh Kotian were also present.
