Mangalore, Feb 18: Saturday saw the campus of National Institute of Technology-Karnataka (NIT-K), Suratkal, abuzz with literary activities and dramas.

Events such as "Just a minute", crossword, and the final rounds of quiz were held as part of "Incident 07", the annual cultural festival of the institute. The NIT-K got the top honours in "Centre stage", the drama competition. Manipal Institute of Technology won the first prize in the group dance competition.

Finals of various beach sport events were also held. The band "Pearl Magic" performed. On Friday night, the "Semi pro nite" event saw participation from semi professional bands from across the country. "Extinct Reflections" stood first in the competition, while "After Burn" won the second prize.

Performance by "Galeej Gurus" was the star attraction of the evening, a press release said.
