Mangalore Feb 18: The Mahamastakabhisheka of Lord Bahubali with water brought from Cauvery river was held on Saturday evening.
This was a symbolic protest against the verdict by the Cauvery tribunal.
On Saturday, the water brought from Cauvery was brought to Dharmastala and was taken near the monolith in a colourful procession. Dharmastala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade received the water.
On Sunday, 504 kalashas of water will be utilized to perform the Jalabhisheka.
