Udupi, Feb 18: Minister for Medical Education Dr V S Acharya on Saturday, February 17 inaugurated the Udupi taluk-level integration camp at Vidyaniketan School in Kaup.
Speaking on the occasion, he told the children to imbibe love for the nation and also develop self respect which will enable them to be good citizens and build a strong nation.
The camp was organized by the Department of Public Education, Zilla Panchayat and Bharata Seva Dal.
Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon presided over the programme. Hundreds of children took part in the camp.
