Mangalore, Feb 20: Movie buffs in the city will get an opportunity to view some good films for a whole week starting on Friday. In view of the Oscar season, Adlabs Cinemas plans to screen the best of this year's Oscar-nominated films as well as the winners of previous years at Adlabs cinema halls in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Mangalore, according to a press release from Chief Operating Officer of Adlabs Cinemas Tushar Dhingra here on Monday.
The films to be screened include "The Departed", "Babel", "Blood Diamond", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest", "Poseidon", "The Prestige" and "United 93".
Contests on the theme of the awards will also be held at the cinema halls and message boards will be put up on which visitors can post their comments on the nominations.
