Kundapur, Mar 29: The Kota Gram Panchayat assembly was recently held for the year 2006-2007. The meet was held in the Assembly Hall under the chairmanship of Jyothi Bharath Kumar.
Srinivasa Poojary, the Zilla Panchayat member and Prema T Poojary, Taluk Panchayat member were present at the meeting.
Dr Sarvottama Udupa, officer in-charge of the panchayat spoke on the significance of the village assembly. A discussion was held during the meeting on the Manooru Suvarna Grama Project and its implementation.
