Mangalore, Apr 3: "It is only when we come out of our narrow views that we would grow.  We should aim at higher and venture into newer horizons.  Only an open and well-balanced person reaches new miles in life," said chairman of Administrative Reforms Commission and former chief minister Veerappa Moily.

He was addressing the gathering during the VI day of religious discourses at Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple at Kateeel near Kinnigoli here on Monday April 2 evening.

Shri Vishwaprasannateertha Sripad Swamiji, of Pejawar Math in his discourse said that good thoughts and goods deeds are essential for success in life.  "I wish for the well-being of everyone.  Let goddess Durgaparameshwari of Kateeel bless each one with her bountiful blessings so that our lives may brighten with joy and contentment," he wished.

Sandhya Pai, editor of Taranga Kannada weekly presided over while Kateel temple priest Venkatramana Asranna, K L Kundanttaya, MLA Abhayachandra Jain, Aikala Harish Shetty, president of Mumbai Brahmakalashotsava Committee and former MLA Somappa Suvarnna graced the occasion as chief guests.
