Mangalore, Apr 3: The third annual conference of the Indian Society of Toxicology (IST) ‘Toxocon – 3’ will be held on Saturday April 7 at the K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) auditorium at 9.30 am.

A press release stated that Dr H S Ballal, vice-chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education will be the chief guest while N Vinay Hegde, president, Nitte Education Trust will be the guest of honour.

The programme will be presided over by Dr V V Pillay, president, IST.

Dr M S Rao, Director and chief forensic scientist, Directorate of Forensic Science, government of India will release the conference souvenir.

Dr M S Rao, Dr Shantaram Shetty, dean, KSHEMA, Dr Sivasankara Pillai, professor and head, department of forensic science, Pogummoodu Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram and Dr K S Karanth, vice-dean, KSHEMA will be felicitated on the occasion, the press release stated.
