Mangalore, Apr 17: A serial accident that occurred at Jeppinamogaru between a lorry, jeep and bus injured 3 persons on Tuesday April 17 evening.
The accident occurred in front of Hotel Pegasus on National Highway 17 when a jeep hit a lorry from behind. A private bus plying between the city and Kasargod which was behind the jeep went and hit the jeep even before the driver could apply brakes.
As a result three persons were injured. The identity of the injured is however not yet established. The accident resulted in road block and a big queue of vehicles was formed on the highway causing traffic jam. However, police with the help of locals managed to remove the vehicles from the road and clear the road quite fast.
Kankanady police have registered a case in this regard.
