Mumbai, Jun 6: The first Dadoji Kondev title holder in weightlifting, Lingappa Becha Salian alias L B Salian(84) passed away recently.

He had ten Chatrapathi Shivaji award holders as his students and was known as Master. He was a resident of Lulla complex at Kalyan west. He has left behind three daughters, weightlifter students and family members.
