Mangalore, Apr 19: As per the complaint filed by a businessman, court has order probe against Barke police and income tax assistant commissioner.
Gurudat Kamat, owner of Escort Constructions has filed a case against assistant police commissioner of Dayanand Poojary, Barke sub-inspector Pawan Kumar and ASP Dayanand. The court has ordered a probe against these.
Gurudat Kamat was also the contractor of MCC from 2003 to 2007. He had been accused of not paying appropriate income tax during this period. Accordingly the court had ordered to seize his property and valuables. Sub-inspector Pawan Kumar had gone to seize things. It was later alleged that he and his staff had damaged Gurudat's car and also had taken silver ornaments without Gurudat's knowledge.
