Mangalore, Apr 28:  Whether appeasing the deities or leaders of different communities, chief minister H D Kumaraswamy has a fresh and different approach.  Whatever his political motive may be, no one can deny his guts in making decision to stay in the houses of simpletons.

He has written new records in this regard. Now he has even announced that he would stay in the Naxal-affected villages near Kundapur.  Being a chief minister it is never easy to promise these kinds of fairytale things.   Moreover, it is never easy to keep them up.  But he has done it quite admirably in the past few months.

This was once again evident in his visit to St Sebastian's Church at Permannur, Shre Cheerumbe Bhagawati Tempe at Ullal and Syed Madani Dargah.  He even stayed in the house of one Attimolu near Dargah.

On Saturday April 28 morning he visited Bishop's house and sought blessings from Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza.  He also shared tea with Bishop.   Former minister Amarnath Shetty, JD (S) leaders Sushil Noronha, J S Noronha, Catholic Board secretary Fr Wilson D'Souza, Msgr Fred V Pereira were also present on the occasion.
