Mumbai: Srajana association launches two Kannada literary works

Mumbai, Jun 29: 'Srajana', an association of Kannada poetesses held a programme to launch two literary works at Samarasa Bhavan of Karnataka Sangha, Mumbai on Saturday June 27. Dr C S Laxmi, director of Sparrow company and chief guest in the programme, launched 'Mounada Kitikiyolage' by Dr Sunitha M Shetty and 'Mumbai Bimba' by Srajana Balaga on the occasion.






















Manohar Thonse, journalist and honorary secretary of Abu Dhabi Kannada Sangha and president of Billavara Balaga, Abu Dhabi presided over the programme. Well known scientist Dr Vyasaraya Ninjooru was present as
guest of honor. Editors of Mumbai Bimba book Dr Suma Dwarakanath, Shamala Madhav and Padmaja Mannoora were present on the dais.

Srajana Balaga members Karnataka Sangha literary award winner Mithra Venkatraj and Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi authority honorary award winner Shamala Madhav were felicitated by Dr Sunitha Shetty on the occasion.

Dr Sunitha Shetty said that she completed sixty years of her stay in Mumbai and she has recollected those years through her work 'Mounada Kitikiyolage'.
