Mangalore, May 28: Labour minister Iqbal Ansari’s recent statements on the coalition government in the state violated the spirit of collective decision, said former minister and Congress leader D K Shiva Kumar here on Sunday May 27.

He also said disciplinary action should be initiated against Ansari and be dropped form the cabinet as his statements were not in conformity with the agreement. JDS had internationally fielded its candidate in order to split the minority votes, he further said.

He added that it was proven fact that the CM and his father Deve Gowda were hand in glove and the BJP was fooling people by saying it was a friendly fight.

Ansari's statement reflected the feelings of Gowda and Kumaraswamy, said former chief minister Dharam Singh. Opining that there was no harmony between the coalition partners, he predicted that there would be mid-term election in the state soon.
