Mangalore, May 29: Former union minister and senior Congress leader CK Jaffer Sharief accused the JD(S) and the BJP of seeking to divide communities for gaining votes and capturing power in Ullal.
The BJP and the JD(S) have joined together to give the advantage to the communal forces. But people from Ullal have faith in Congress because of its secular values and would rally around Congress to defeat the designs of the coalition, said Shariff criticizing communal forces here on Monday May 29.
He further said that the game played by both the parties would result in dividing the Muslim community.
