Mangalore, May 30: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswami paid visit to the house of the late Shaila Preeti D’Souza at Uliya, who died in Netravati river a few days ago, on Tuesday May 29.
Speaking to the parents of the deceased, he assured a government job to Shaila’s younger sister. He also said that, proper action would be taken against the institution where she was doing her course since it was owing to the negligence of the institute that such a tragedy occurred.
Later he paid visit to Madaninagar, Boliyar Dargah and Temple, Alekala, Harekala Rajagudde and Natekal, for the purpose of campaigning for JD (S) candidate Abubakkar Natekal for Ullal by-election.
