Mangalore, May 30: A bus plying between Faisalnagar near Padil and State Bank went off the road and rammed into a roadside coconut tree at Nagori near here on Wednesday May 30 evening.
Eye-witnesses said that bus was on its way to the city when it met with the accident after the driver lost control over the bus. Much to the fear and anxiety of the passengers, bus went off the road and rammed into the coconut tree.
As a result coconut tree broke and fell on the bus. Only a few passengers sustained minor injuries while others escaped unhurt.
