Mangalore, May 30: Ivan D’Souza, the election agent of Congress candidate U T Khader, has filed a complaint with the election commissioner against Ullal sub-inspector A D Nagaraju for assaulting congress activists at Mastikatte on Wednesday May 30.
In a complaint he stated that, sub-inspector A D Nagaraju is from Hassan which is the home town of chief minister H D Kumaraswamy. Hence, he is supporting Kumaraswamy and JD (S).
A D Nagaraju has assaulted Congress activists Ashraf and Rangaswami and resorted to caning on those who participated in the campaign. Injured activists are admitted to a hospital at Thokkottu.
If campaigning has to go on peacefully, sub-inspector Nagaraju must be sacked, demanded Ivan.
