Mangalore, May 31: Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and Catholic Konkani Rakon Sanchalan will organize a workshop on ‘voveo-vers’ at Kuvempu Kala Mandira in Chikamaglur on Sunday June 3.
Hilda D’Souza, Irene Rebello and Ravi Stephen will be the resource persons of this work shop. Workshop will start at 9.30 am and will be wound up by 4 pm on the same day. Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Eric Ozario will preside over the function.
Konkani Mhan Monis - Ek Mulakhat’ programme will be held at the same venue at 6.30 pm. Senior Konkani writer and dramatist Gregory Edward D’Souza and senior social activist Dr Meera N Mahale will be honoured on the occasion.
Fr George D’Souza, parish priest, Vijayapur will be the chief guest for that function. Later Konkani play ‘Aput Ankvar’, by members of ICYM Loretto and directed by Geo Agrar will be staged.
