Mangalore, Jun 1: Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy addressing a press conference here just before public campaigning came to a standstill on Thursday May 31 said that he is not answerable to any of Congress leaders but only to voters over handing over his post to BJP after the completion of 20 months.

He was answering to the challenge thrown by former president of KPCC Janardhan Poojary to him regarding the handing over of CM’s post to the BJP.

CM said that Poojary and Congress need not worry about this process as it is the concern of coalition partners BJP and JD (S).  “Why should they poke their nose into these internal matters?  Everything that has to be done would be done at the appropriate hour.  We do not want anyone’s advice for this,” he added.

Meanwhile he did not forget to thank all the parties for peaceful election campaign and said that this campaign has restored peoples’ faith in democracy once again.

MLC YCS Datta, former MLA Amarnath Shetty, JD (S) district president Balraj Rai were also present at the press conference.
