Mangaluru: Abdul Latheef Saheb elected president of Jamiyyatul Falah

Mangaluru, Aug 10: Abdul Latheef Saheb has been unanimously elected president of Jamiyyatul Falah DK-Udupi central council for the year 2015-17.

Abdul Latheef Saheb served as the first president of Beltangady unit and played a vital role in developing it. He is an active social worker, and is serving as assistant commissioner of DK district scouts and guides. He has also been the president of Madanthyar Kulfathbail Jumma Masjid from several years.


The following are unanimously elected as the office-bearers for the year 2015-17:

Vice-presidents : Ibrahim Kodijal and Shabih Ahmed Khazi Udupi
General secretary : Mohammed Shareef Karkala
Treasurer : Imthiyaz Ahmed Khateeb Mangaluru
Joint secretary : K Beera Moiddin Sullia
Organizing secretary : Khasim Barkoor Udupi
Press secretary : Aliabba Pulabe.

JF NRCC Ameer Mohammed Mansoor Ahmed, NRCC members Shahul Hameed and Mohammed Farooq conducted the election proceedings.
