Pakistan Rangers targeted Border Security Force outposts with automatic and small arms fire in Suchetgarh area late Monday evening.

"The BSF retaliated and firing exchanges continued in the area till 4.50 a.m. today (Tuesday)," the spokesman said.

The Pakistan Army also violated the ceasefire on Monday by firing on the LoC in Balakot sector of Poonch district. The firing began at 7 p.m. and ended around midnight, he said.
