It really shows no humanity and no respect, value, towards the poor. It is really sad to see this situation.

I wonder why a civilised society should treat its citizens in such a manner. The police force have got away with encounters for far too long. Encounter specialists (who incidentally have grown rich overnight) have been glorified in the media, while those who die do not even get a chance to prove themselves innocent in a court of law.

If the keepers of the law think they can violate it and kill people in broad daylight without even ascertaining whether they are truly extrimists, why does the Government expect ordinary people to abide by the law ?

Our administration and law and order machinery should take lessons from the British and Australian governments, who have followed the law to the last letter in charging or detaining or suspects, and have not yet charged those who haven't convinced them of their guilt. In the long run, their methods will truly prevail over extremism, as they have ensured that they treat their citizens with respect, and assume they are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Our government can hope to curb extremism only if it bothers to address genuine greviances of sections of society and treat them with respect instead of trying to stifle their voice with brutal methods - it will only make matters worse. Only then can we truly achieve the state of freedom our forefathers fought for.

Very cruel on the part of police to kill innocent civilians.Such attrocities will lead to further bloodshed. The police should have arrested the suspects instead of killing them.We condemn police heartlessness.

It is very sad to see in 21 st century , The basic thing that governments should think about why these people  became mavoists . Why they are ready to die , sure that its none other than our present system , that wont allow poor & backward to grow up .Let the government concentratrate on that to minimize this blood bath.
